Carpenters Shipping Agency is looking for a Logistics Officer.

Designation: Logistics Officer – CSA SI

Reports to: Branch Manager

Scope of Position:

LOGISTICS OFFICER

• Drafts customer invoice for demurrage/detention and repair cost of the damaged container.
• Reports overstaying containers and empty repositioning summary for booking. preparation.
• Creates and issues Container Release Allocation (CRO) for export and Delivery Order (DO) for import.
• Process and endorse import releasing and issuance of delivery orders.
• Update daily movement of containers using in-house system after reconciling on SIPA. Hinterland report and dockets as main source of information.
• Generate daily inventory report and each equipment status for load plan and sales forecasting.
• Updating and monitoring of detention and claims report status.
• Evaluate the estimated cost of repair for damaged containers to be approved by principal.
• Send follow up reminder for overdue containers that still idle inside port and consignee. custody.
• Monitors missing container movement activity and request terminal operator to re-send.
• Movement event reports and visit port and consignee premises for physical inspection.
• Resolves issues on loading and discharging activity to terminal and vessel operator.
• Create export storage and assess plugging charge for invoicing for reconciling with terminal operator invoice for payments.
• In charge of sending weekly loading report and confirmation after obtaining the report from Terminal and vessel operator.
• Maintain proper filing of every shipment for audit purposes.
• Other duties as directed by the Manager.

Education and Experience:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
• work experience of about 3 years in shipping operation or Logistics related activities.
