SIPPA and SurfAid are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a new 3 year project.
Reducing Gender Based Violence and Supporting Survivors in Solomon Islands
This project aims to change community behaviours and support victims of gender based violence.
The Project Manager role is a fixed term full time 3 year contract, based at SIPPA Honiara Office.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, to take ownership of a new initiative and drive real change.
Responsibilities
Project Design, implementation and adaptation 60% |

Working relationships
- Reporting to the SurfAid Country Program Manager and SIPPA Programs Manager
- Work closely with all SIPPA and SurfAid staff.
- Engagement with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, SafeNet members, MFAT and all other stakeholders.
Selection Criteria
- Degree or diploma in Health, Project Management or related field
- Demonstrated experience managing a donor funded program, including responsibility for implementation, monitoring and reporting
- Experience working in the GBV sector in response or support services
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including high level of written and spoken English
- Ability to resolve problems encountered and to seek assistance with problem solving as required
- Demonstrated commitment to the rights of women and girls
- Excellent Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Confident in talking about and discussing Sexual and Reproductive Health=
