FOREIGN EXCHANGE AND MONEY MARKETS DEALER

BRED Bank Solomon is looking for a competent and very enthusiastic results- oriented individual to work with the Treasury Team. This position will report directly to the Head of Treasury. This is a demanding yet satisfying role within an international Bank.

An appropriate salary package will be negotiated to secure a high Caliber candidate.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Responsible for quoting Foreign Exchange and Money Market Rates.
• Analyze banking statistics provided by Reuters and CBSI.
• Ensure that Bred bank funds are maintained in the Bred Bank Solomon nostro Accounts and CBSI Call account to cover payment for all financial instruments issued by BBS.
• Keep constant interactions with the internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure that all foreign Exchange trading done on the day recorded in the trading blotter.
• Improve the quality of services offer and increase transacted volumes.
• Continuously engage in business development with an emphasis on visiting customers.

Preferred Qualification and Criteria:

• Degree in Accounting/Economics, Banking and Finance or related discipline.
• Intermediate technical skills in Compliance/Legislation.
• Intermediate technical skills in Industry Knowledge.
• Intermediate technical skill in Negotiation.
• Intermediate technical Computer skill.
• Intermediate technical skill in in Finance.
• Self-motivated and Team Spirit.
• Customer service oriented.
• Highly motivated, rational and proactive.
• Reliable and efficient.
• Positive and pleasant personality.
• Age below 35 Years.
