BRED BANK Solomon seeks application from a qualified experienced, result oriented, competent, and highly enthusiastic individual to work with us for the position of Finance Officer. This position with attractive remuneration package and shall report directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Processing and Managing account payable : processing of invoices, reconcile purchase orders and maintain updated vendor files, charges expenses to proper accounts, assist in End of Month (EOM) closing functions, maintaining listing of accounts payable and or accrual.
  • Reporting Management to Central Bank of Solomon Islands.
  • Risk Management : verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures, obtain appropriate approval prior payment of invoices, maintains vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, review invoices for accuracy and authenticity.

Preferred Qualification/and Criteria:

  • Holds a tertiary Diploma in Accounting, Banking & Finance or a related field from a credible tertiary institution.
  • Having at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role in a banking environment will be an advantage.
  • Age 25 Years and Above.
  • Intermediate Technical Computer skill.
  • Self-motivated and Team Sprit.
  • Highly motivated, rational, and proactive.
  • Reliable & efficient.
  • Customer Service Oriented.
  • Punctual and Self-reliant.
  • Able to meet the deadline in a given time.
