VACANCY NOTICE – PROJECTS AND CONTRACTS ENGINEER

The position is full time with a three-month probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period the employee will have the opportunity to become full-time employee.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Projects and Contracts Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of our projects from inception to completion. The Projects and Contracts Engineer will be responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation phases. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Additionally, this role involves managing contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions, ensuring compliance, and resolving any contract-related issues that may arise.

About Applicant:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering or a related field, with proven experience in project management and contract administration.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • The applicant should demonstrate a keen eye for detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive approach to project challenges.
  • A thorough understanding of project management methodologies and contract law is highly desirable.

The responsibilities of the role:

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, and execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within allocated budgets and timelines.
