VACANCY NOTICE – SENIOR ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR

The position is full time with a three-month probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period the employee will have the opportunity to become full-time employee.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accounts Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The Senior Accounts Supervisor will report directly to the Finance Manager and play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and maintaining financial controls within the organization.

About Applicant:

• Qualifications: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience of at least 5 years’ in a supervisory role within the accounting department. Experience in financial reporting, budget preparation, and audit processes is essential.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements according to company policies and GAAP standards.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit findings.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, overseeing daily operations and providing guidance as needed.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.
• Advisory Role: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on analysis and interpretation of financial data.
