JOB VACANCY NOTICE – ELECTRICIAN TEAM LEADER

SolTuna Limited is seeking a capable and responsible person to join our Engineering & Maintenance Department in Noro, Western Province. Must be “A” Grade Licensed Electrician/Solomon Power License holder with Minimum of 10 years’ experience.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Ensure the Electrical operations of SolTuna run efficiently and effectively daily.
• Ensure all electricians receive the necessary support required for smooth operation of all SolTuna plant and equipment.
• Carryout scheduled preventive maintenance on SolTuna’s electrical operations.
• Train and develop all Electrical Section staff and apprentice Electricians to ensure they reach their highest potential.
• Take staff corrective action when needed in consultation with HR if required and ensure problems are addressed in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Maintain costs within budget including adequate and timely availability of spare parts and supplies, minimization of overtime and effective implementation of corrective action plans.
