Job Summary:
The Admin Officer – Logistics & Plant Hire is responsible for providing administrative support to the Logistics & Plant Hire Manager and assist in the smooth running of the department. The Admin Officer – Logistics & Plant Hire is responsible for ensuring that all administrative tasks related to the Civil & Logistics teams are completed efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Logistics & Plant Hire Manager in managing customer and project logistics, such as transportation, equipment, and material management.
- Assist in preparing project plans, schedules, and budgets related to civil and logistics activities.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for the timely delivery of equipment and materials to project sites.
- Manage and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and change orders related to civil and logistics activities.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Logistics & Plant Hire Manager.
- Prepare and manage project invoices, budgets, and financial reports related to civil and logistics activities.
- Assist in coordinating project meetings, preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
- Participate in project planning and strategy meetings related to civil and logistics activities.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Experience):
- Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
