ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Trade Marketing Representative (TMR) is responsible for the successful management of a defined geographical territory (defined as “patch”), by utilising commercial business acumen; strategic planning capability, a drive for results and passion for success & energy.

Reports to: Area Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDES:

• Acting as the point of reference for external partners by engaging in commercial conversations and negotiations.
• Building, encouraging, and maintaining strong business partnerships with customers.
• Responsibly educating customers on product and category knowledge as well as on trading terms.
• Ensuring execution of strategies and campaigns for all customers are achieved within your patch.
• Meeting, and exceeding, performance targets.
• Continually developing your skills to adapt to the changing industry and regulatory environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Preferably at least 2 years’ experience in FMCG, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Graduates from Tertiary Marketing or Business Qualification courses
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, external suppliers, and commercial partners.
• Equipped with effective communication and presentation skills.
