As a prestigious private owned school renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development, we are seeking and inviting qualified candidates below the age range of 38 years old to apply for the position of Finance and Administration Assistant.
Key tasks/responsibilities to be performed.
- Provide comprehensive finance support to the Finance department and broader school operations.
- Process daily financial transactions, including collection school fees, invoicing, expense claims, and payments.
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and preparation for audits.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, databases, and archives.
- Assist in maintaining and updating inventory.
- Support daily administrative functions such as scheduling, record keeping, and correspondence.
- Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies and institutional procedures.
Skills required for the role.
- Ability to demonstrate a track record of continued professional development.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in interacting with students, parents and colleagues.
- Proficiency with accounting software and strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with current regulatory standards and financial best practices is desirable.
Experience required for the role.
- Atleast experienced working in the field of accounting, finance business administration.
Demonstrated experienced in a finance support or administrative role.
Qualification required.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Holds Driving License.
