VACANCY: TWO DIRECTOR POSITION FOR CEMA BOARD

The Commodities Export Marketing Authority (CEMA) trading as “Solomon Commodities” was established by the CEMA Act 1984 and subjected to the State Owned Enterprises (SOE) Act 2007 and SOE Regulations 2010 invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill Two (2) vacant positions as a Director of the Board of the Authority as per Regulation 5 (1) of SOE Regulations 2010. This is a policy and governance position ensuring that the operations of the Authority satisfies the objectives of both the CEMA Act and SOE Act and the Long Term Strategic Plan 2022 - 2032. Applicants with the following qualifications and experiences are encouraged to apply:

• Education & Work Experience: Preferably a Tertiary level with relevant work experiences in the following fields:
  • i) Foreign Investments, foreign trade and marketing,
  • ii) Economics
  • iii) Law
  • iv) Commodities Science & Engineering
• Provide Curriculum vitae (CV) and certified supporting documents.
• Successful candidate will be asked to provide Police and Medical reports.
